mark2About Mark Stoner

Although he’s had his fair share of failures, Mark Stoner is a man known for his successes. He took a one-man chimney sweeping business and turned it into one of the largest and most respected multi-million dollar chimney service businesses in the nation.

Mark is also the President of the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA), an industry-renowned non-profit organization responsible for educating chimney professionals and homeowners about fireplace and chimney safety; founder of SirVent Chimney & Venting Franchise; professional public speaker; and now author of Blue Collar Gold: How To Build A Service Business From The Dirt Up.

Mark has launched several businesses in his lifetime and has spent years studying his own successes and failures, as well as those of others. He’s an avid reader of all things business- and leadership-focused and is dedicated to continuously strengthening his leadership skills and helping others push on towards their goals.

When not running his business, launching new endeavors, speaking, writing books, and encouraging other business owners on their journeys, Mark can be found motorcycling through herds of buffalo, perfecting his BBQ skills, enjoying time with his wife and two kids, or bringing sweep’s luck to his community.

In pop culture, they say, “You have the same number of hours in the day as Beyoncé.” In the service business world, they say, “You have the same number of hours in the day as Mark Stoner.”

Mark Stoner covers becoming a better leader, setting and sticking to goals and much more in his book Blue Collar Gold: How to Build a Service Business from the Dirt Up.

Larry Winget asks Mark about the biggest challenges facing blue collar business owners.

Mark Stoner talks about how he built his business on the Guys In Trucks podcast.
